A transformative research where individuals are fully transformed into unrecognizable artistic characters through extreme makeup. Each transformation is meticulously crafted, incorporating personal favorite colors, historical figures, environments, and beloved art forms.

While the result leaves them visually unrecognizable, it simultaneously reflects their true essence, capturing and celebrating their individuality in a striking and unforgettable way. This creative metamorphosis allows participants to see themselves from a new perspective, merging their inner identity with an extraordinary outer transformation.
Lieve (65) was one of the first persons who gave me the trust to transform her in a way that no one would recognize her, eventhough the entire look was based on the different persona's of Lieve. 
This was the starting point of 'RECTO VERSO', the art project that researches the duality in identity and that I'm currently working on today.
